Best Private Banking Country
Interesting question – which country is the best private banking jurisdiction?
Before the last G20 meeting, I’d have said the country closest to your heart – it’s where you live. But things may have changed with all those newly imposed international trading conditions.
You must have seen the now traditional protests against the G20 countries. At issue is always these countries taking away the citizens’ liberties; the cause of poverty; bullying of the poor countires of the world; environmental degradation; overly high taxes; unfair policies….etc. These are not going to go away any time soon.
It’s been a couple of months since the G20′s new banking and tax rules and many institutions and countries have taken stock of the issues. They have largely reset their playing field with the new rules taking shape, regardless of the unfairness and political hypocracy.
Where do I think the best private banking country is?
It’s the place you live it’s closest to your heart.
That is always the answer I offer. You see, many countries, regardless of banking secrecy policies, still have ecxellent private banking policies. Why do you think there are wealthy people around? It’s in knowing how to make use of them.
Another question often tied to it is “Asset Protection or Tax Evasion”?
This is the misinformation that governments and banks have been using to confuse the public with more confusing ethics – like making the retail banks become the cash policemen – withholding your money because some bank officer “thinks” you’re a money launderer without proof or even logic. I’m sure you know of a number of people like yourself having gone through that silly but potentially destructive scenario.
Just because you bank in an offshore bank does not mean you are money laundering or evading taxes – you could be investing in that bank or in that jurisdiction properly and legally.
You see, there are such things as creating your own banks – your Private Bank – and essentially doing your private bank wealth management in just about every country with civil liberties – even China. This is another way to build your assets legally while being sheltered from and defering taxation.
So, if you are happy where you live, stay and find the way to do this asset building through your very own private bank wealth management system.
Otherwise, simply move to another country that you much prefer like I have.
The best private banking country is the country where you live.
