Super Wealthy Donations Rise

The super wealthy donations rise paying out from their own bank accounts?

Wealthiest Philantropists Warren Buffet and Bill GatesCharitable donations of the super wealthy has risen significantly despite the recession. In fact, despite losing a sizeable chunk of their assets to the devastated stock markets, they have chosen to give more.

Bill Gates the current world’s financially wealthiest person has been in the news about giving away multi-billion dollar charitable donations. Even in this economy, his net worth has fallen a sizeable 35%, he continued the giving ways. Why?

People give away their wealth for various reasons:

1) Karmic order of the universal energy (huh? ….never mind).

2) To be viewed in a good light by his customers hence building more goodwill.

3) A form of advertising – another way to get more customer loyalty and market share.

4) Being seen as philantropic during bad financial times can gain one some extraordinary following.

But remember too that as a ratio of wealth, the super wealthy are far less “hurt” by the economic meltdown. They have financial resources to spare.

This happens worldwide, not just in the continental North America. Let’s look across the pond…
