Investments and Time is Money

Getting all the new investments online and the old stuff out of the way is surprisingly time and energy consuming. The financial books are not yet complete. Burning the midnight oil again…

Time is money and completing all these transactions are mandatory to free me to focus on the real money making stuff…Perhaps I’m just not getting any younger and the lack of a good break for the holidays hurts.

A tired mind drifts off into the distance…to somewhere nice and warm and the bones don’t ache like it does here. Where water doesn’t become that white stuff that has to be removed by hand – what a pain it is becoming. Azure seas and blue skies beckon. Days and nights of surf fishing, deep sea thrills and coral reef diving, fresh coconut for lunch everyday to cool us off, and dozing on hammocks after a hard day’s play. Hmm…Singapore? No, it’s too well built up but Malaysia’s Labuan Island and Brunei’s resort areas do come to mind. Never mind the resort areas. Just call an old friend or two and they’ll set you up in the idyllic offshore and investment getaway…

Striving so hard to making money maintain a so called financial freedom seem at odds. Just packing up and simply living in that part of the world is suddenly ultra tempting. Should I? The western world is becoming fraught with ducking all those lawsuits and endless problems that even the countries’ Presidents and Prime Ministers have to try to avoid.

Bah!! What am I thinking of? I’ve got kids and people who need me here still. There’s lots building up right in front of me. No time to give up now! Perhaps a good old fashioned holiday is just the ticket right now. This long dark winter days must be depressing me too, and doctors and pushing drugs on me never appeal. No need to waste money on them.

Stop wasting time, time is money and I won’t be getting my fair share if I don’t finish these things off. Come to think of it, it’s all these old financial papers that are actually weighing me down. It’s Paretto’s principle at work. The good 20% is already there. I’ll feel better once I’m done with these financial dead weights. Then, I’ll take my own advice and get into my relaxation routine.
