Is Yellow Pages Dead? My fingers can’t seem to do any more walking.
Cost of paper is going up. Ad sales are going down.
The stock is languishing. Investors are seeing red.
Print sales ads down 5 to 8%.
There’s Drama at CNBC. A phone book is shown ripped in half.

More reasons for the Yellow Dinosaur’s demise? Phone searches (iPhones, etc.), the economic recession, new targetted media, going green, I’ll let your imagination run with me…

But, there is a great use for that great lump – it’s a fantastic door stop and bug smasher! But wait, it’s not very environmentally friendly to cut down so many trees and some people might take exception to treating bugs that way.

Okay, Mr. Gates might be right after all…he has his $65B or so talking.
